of optical quality LiF, CaF2 and BaF2 single crystals
upto 2 inch diameter.

Growth
of Bismuth Germanate single crystal up-to 40 mm diameter

Growth
of large single crystals of PbWO4 , BaWO4 and ZnWO4 scintillators
INSTRUMENTATION:
1.
Development
of a fully automated diameter controlled Czochralski crystal growth system. All
the driver modules, hardware design, fabrication, computer interfacing and
software development was done.
2.
Automation
of Vacuum Bridgman system for unattended operation.
3.
Design
and development of various furnaces.
